About the Brand
My M&M’s is the custom gifting arm of Mars Wrigley, giving us the chance to print personal messages, photos, and clipart directly onto the shells of their famous chocolate candies. Originally launched in the early 2000s, the service quickly expanded to the UK market to cater to the booming demand for bespoke edible gifts. Today, it sits alongside the main confectionery brand as a dedicated platform for celebrations and seasonal treats.
The core offering revolves around bulk bags and pre-packaged gift boxes that we can customise using an online design tool. Prices typically start around £3 for small party favours and scale up to £70 or more for large orders. Unlike standard supermarket confectionery, everything is made to order, meaning production times are slightly longer to accommodate the printing and careful temperature-controlled packaging required to ship chocolate safely.
What really sets the service apart is the flexibility of the design interface. We can mix up to three candy colours in a single order and combine two different print elements on each shell, such as a photograph on one side and a short text message on the other. These customisation options, combined with the automatic deals and newsletter discounts available on this page, make it a brilliant resource for sorting out event catering on a budget.
How to use
Shopping Guide
When should I order personalised chocolates for a big event?
We always suggest placing orders for weddings or corporate functions at least four to six weeks ahead of time. The custom printing and careful packaging take a bit longer than standard dispatch, and ordering early gives you a buffer. It also leaves room to sort out any issues if the colours look slightly off or if a batch arrives in poor condition.
How do I stop my chocolates melting during delivery?
Getting chocolate delivered safely in the UK between June and August requires a bit of planning. The company uses insulated packaging and cool packs for summer orders, but you should still pick a delivery day when someone will be home to bring the parcel indoors straight away. If you’re posting a gift directly to a mate during a heatwave, paying extra for express delivery is usually worth it to cut down transit time.
Are bulk bags actually better value for party favours?
For large gatherings, buying in bulk works out much cheaper per gram than picking up pre-packaged gift boxes. You will have to buy your own little favour boxes or cellophane bags from a craft shop, but you’ll still make a solid saving overall. Just bear in mind that larger custom orders need a longer lead time for the printing process, so don’t leave it until the last minute.
