About the Brand
Never Fully Dressed is a London-born womenswear label founded by Lucy Aylen, who started selling handmade garments at Spitalfields and Portobello Market. Her parents were East End market traders — fashion retail runs in the blood. After five years of market stalls, Lucy opened the brand’s first permanent shop in Buckhurst Hill, Essex, with headquarters in nearby Loughton. Today, the label is known for bold, in-house-designed prints and a “sophisticated sass” philosophy that defines every collection.
The range spans multi-wear womenswear and kidswear: dresses, co-ords, skirts, tops, trousers, shorts, and accessories designed to work across occasions and body types. New arrivals typically start around £50, and statement dresses can dip as low as £29 in the party edit. An outlet section offers up to 40% off across core categories, and the brand runs sale promotions for much of the year — data suggests active offers are live around 90% of the time.
Sustainability has become a growing part of the brand’s direction. Pre-loved garments and one-off samples are available through their Depop channel, offering unique pieces at reduced prices while keeping clothing in circulation. The Loyalty Love rewards programme lets customers earn points across three tiers — Something Sassy, Strikingly Sassy, and Supremely Sassy — unlocking redeemable rewards, exclusive discounts, and birthday treats as they progress. Student and NHS discounts of up to 15% and 12% add further value for eligible shoppers.
With outlet markdowns, loyalty points, and the codes we’ve listed on this page, there are several ways to bring that basket total down before you reach checkout.
How to use
Shopping Guide
When’s the best time to shop at Never Fully Dressed?
November is historically the strongest month, with Black Friday promotions often delivering the deepest discounts across the range. May sees a spike in activity around summer launches, and the post-Christmas clearance brings steep reductions too. That said, our data suggests Never Fully Dressed runs sale offers for roughly 90% of the year, so the outlet section — with up to 40% off dresses, skirts, tops, and trousers — is always worth checking first. Spring and autumn tend to throw up some of the best reductions on accessories and dresses, occasionally reaching 50% off.
How does the Loyalty Love programme affect the maths?
Signing up is free and immediately starts earning at 5 points per £1 on the Something Sassy tier. Cross the £250 threshold and you move to Strikingly Sassy, jumping to 7 points per £1 — that difference compounds over several purchases. At £500, the Supremely Sassy tier awards 10 points per £1, plus exclusive discounts and birthday treats. We’d recommend signing up before your first order rather than after, so every pound counts from the start.
Can I stack a discount code with outlet prices?
Generally, no. The NHS and student codes explicitly exclude combining with other offers, and outlet items are already marked down. The smarter approach is to split your basket: apply the percentage-off code to full-priced items where it delivers the most absolute saving, and buy outlet pieces without a code. On a typical £100 basket, this split strategy tends to outperform trying to squeeze a code onto already-reduced stock.
Is the outlet section worth browsing, or should I wait for seasonal sales?
They overlap less than you’d expect. The outlet carries steady, year-round markdowns across core categories — dresses, tops, skirts, trousers — at up to 40% off. Seasonal sales bring deeper, time-limited cuts on specific lines. If you’re after something particular, check the outlet first; if you’re open to discovery, the Black Friday and post-Christmas events are where the most dramatic reductions surface. Never Fully Dressed’s biggest individual savings tend to cluster around those seasonal moments.
